Toothbrush Rug Class
This is a great way to use 2 inch strips for a scrappy rug or buy new fabric-
You will need to purchase Aunt Philly’s Toothbrush Rug pattern ( avail at Rose Patch)
The Toothbrush tool or take an old toothbrush- pull off the rubber gum pick at the other end- then file to a point the brush end-
You will need 4 ½ yards of two coordinating fabrics- Best to buy fabric that looks the same on both sides- if not -after you rip the fabric into 2 inch strips- you will need to iron them in half.
Wash and press you fabric before class- It is best to cut the lengths into 1 1/8 yard pieces for washing and tearing of the fabric.
Scissors, large safety pens 2-3, fabric washed and ironed and YOU!
