About Us
Rose Patch Creations started many years ago selling handmade hats and pocketbooks. My mom (Pat Rose) and I (Kimberly Rose Pannell) made lovely items to sell at craft shows. This was our way of spending time together. We came up with Rose Patch since it was our last names. I had always wanted to open a Quilt Shoppe. The opportunity for this miracle happened in April, 2007. My sister, Adrienne decided that she wanted to fulfill her dream of opening a barber shop. Adie and mom looked for a building suitable for the shop. They found an old men's clothing store building which had not been occupied for some time. It was 3000 sq ft, BIG ROOM. So the planning started. Adie was going to build her barber shop on one side. Mom and I decided to build our gift shop/quilt shoppe on the other, as well as a mortgage office (my real day job). Adie opened her shop, Crewe Cuts, in May 2007, and we opened Rose Patch Creations Unique Gift and Quilt Shoppe on August 30th 2007, my mom's 72nd birthday!! We still have beautiful hats and awesome pocketbooks and so much more. We have not looked back, and are focused on the opportunities that lie ahead. No task or job is too complex.
